CONTEMPLATION
On its own, this word could summarize this new musical journey: contemplation of nature and post-modern humanity as well.
Musically, the doom death metal base is brighten up by dub, black metal and subtle pagan elements, creating a profound and original atmosphere, as dub techniques are not commonly used in metal.

Led by Matthieu Ducheine from a to z, it's a comeback in metal territories, 20 years after a symphonic black metal album
( obscurasymphonia.bandcamp.com ) , then 6 albums of dark electro ambiant dub under the name of chrono.fixion.
( chronofixion.bandcamp.com )

Fusion of these multiple elements will be pushed further with a future split ep contemplation / chrono.fixion, who will hammer the metallic nail into the dub frame.

Aquilus took a decade off and came back like he never left! Bellum I is yet another piece of beautiful melodic black metal mixed with classical and folk that makes you wanna dance naked in a forest somewhere. The natural sounding production increases the atmosphere heavily. Griseus is a monumental black metal album for me but Bellum I isn't far behind. Can't wait for II! Ryan
